BBC Three

BBC Three is a television network from the BBC broadcaster. The channel’s target audience includes the age group 16-34 year olds. The channel has the purpose of providing ‘innovative’ content to younger audience, focusing on new British talent/actors and technology. The channel shares ‘terrestrial television bandwidth’ with the CBBC Channel, therefore it is on air when the CBBC Channel is not live, from 19:00 to 4:00 each night.
90% of BBC Three’s output is from the United Kingdom, with 80% of the content being original. It aims to cover all genres, from current affairs, to drama to animation. Original ideas discovered and broadcast by BBC Three include Being Human, Gavin and Stacey and Little Britain.

Its main viewers are drawn in as the channel often broadcasts shows some of it's American imports up to a week before they are broadcast on terrestrial Channel Four.
The soap concept and the trailer I produce would be suitable for broadcast on either of these channels. They are both aimed at the same target audience that my soap is, so they already have the existing viewing number base. There is also no currrent long running soap screened on either of these channels.
